A Delaware minor child power of attorney form allows a parent to transfer their child’s day-to-day care to someone else. The agent given this duty is usually a family member or close friend. Once signed, the agent authorized to care for the child will have temporary guardianship. Although this is not official guardianship, that must be petitioned for (Delaware guardianship forms) the parent’s local family county court.
