West Virginia Independent Contractor Agreement

Updated February 17, 2022

A West Virginia Independent Contractor Agreement is a contract between a client and a contractor. While it can be drawn up to accommodate the preferences of either party, both client and contractor must sign off on the provisions relayed therein before commencing work. The service which is to be provided must be detailed in the first section of the form, followed by the payment to be received and when it will be provided by the client (upon completion, throughout the rendering of services, or another option that pleases both parties). The nature of the agreement between a client and a contractor dictates that the client does not have a say in how the service is provided as it is in the rights of the contractor to establish a plan of attack for the completion of the task.
