Georgia Immediate Notice to Quit | Non-Payment of Rent

Updated June 30, 2022

The Georgia Immediate Notice to Quit is a form that may be used by a landlord to inform a tenant that their rent is late and that they are required to make a payment immediately or face eviction. This notice is sent out of courtesy by the landlord and is not required meaning that when rent is late the landlord may immediately begin eviction proceedings without any notice to the tenant until after it has been filed. If the tenant makes payment before the eviction proceedings begin they are to be back in compliance with their rental agreement.
