Maine Voter Registration Form – Register to Vote in ME

A Maine voter registration form may be completed by any state resident on or before election day to enable them to vote in a county, state, or federal election. It should be noted that individuals wishing to register must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. The deadline to submit your registration by mail is twenty-one (21) days before the next election day. You also have the option of registering in person at your polling station on election day. If you do this, you will be required to show a valid state-issued photo ID card.

Voter ID (§111, §671) – ID is not required unless the voter is registering on election day or they’re a new Maine voter, in which case they must present a photo ID (driver’s license or other state-issued ID) and proof of residence.
