Nebraska Voter Registration Form – Register to Vote in NE

Updated August 11, 2023

A Nebraska voter registration form can be used to register to vote by completing the application sending it to your local county clerk or county election office. In order to participate in an election, you must register by the third Friday prior to the election day. The single exception to this rule is if you have become a Nebraska resident after the registration deadline for a Presidential election, in which case you can obtain a Presidential-only ballot from your county election office. To be eligible to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen who lives in Nebraska, who is at least eighteen (18) years old, who has not been in imprisoned for a felony in the past two (2) years, and who has not been legally determined to be incompetent. If this is the first time that you are registering in this state, you should attach a copy of a valid photo ID or a proof of address when you submit your voter registration form.
