Required Disclosures (2)

Lead-Based Paint Disclosure – If the residence was constructed before 1978, the seller is required to provide the buyer with a written statement disclosing the use of any lead-based paint on the property.

Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement (§ 89-1-503) – The seller must provide the buyer with details about the property’s utilities and condition. If an offer has already been made when the disclosure statement is issued, the buyer will have three days to terminate their offer (or five days if the statement is received by mail).
