- Hand delivering the notice directly to the tenant;
- Sending by first-class mail; or
- Posting the notice on an exterior door of the unit.[4]
Waiver of Landlord’s Right to Terminate
If the tenant pays the full amount due within the three days after they have received notice, any action for the nonpayment of rent is barred.[1]
