Nebraska Buyer Agency Agreement

Updated December 27, 2022

A Nebraska buyer agency agreement is used when a real estate firm, and often an individual real estate agent, represents a buyer in a real estate transaction. The purpose of such an agreement is to define a clear working relationship between the two parties, relaying the duties and rights of each. An agency agreement will include the start and end date of the term, the agent’s compensation, and the necessary legal language to ensure the agent will be compensated. It is essentially the equivalent of a listing agreement held between a seller of real estate and their real estate agent.
