Updated August 02, 2023

A Tennessee buyer agency agreement is a contract between a real estate agent and a client by which the agent is authorized to act as the client’s representative in purchasing real estate. The document describes the duties and services that agents will provide, as well as the fees and commissions that the client is required to pay them. A description of the type of residence and location that the client is looking for must also be provided. If the agent successfully negotiates a property purchase for the client, they will be paid a commission in accordance with the terms of their contract.
