Vermont Buyer Agency Agreement

Updated December 27, 2022

A Vermont buyer agency agreement is a professional services contract between a real estate agent and their client that is used when the client is seeking representation to source and facilitate the purchase of property. In the document, a description of the client’s preferences regarding location, property type, and budget must be provided. The contract will also relay the agent’s duties and services that they are bound to in finding suitable properties and negotiating purchases for their clients. When a purchase is facilitated, the agent receives a commission in accordance with the contract.
