A commercial lease termination letter is a form used to cancel a lease between a landlord and tenant. The letter can be written by either the landlord or tenant stating their intention to terminate early, rejecting an option to renew, or giving notice for a lease violation. After the termination letter has been sent, communication between the parties should begin to resolve any outstanding issues.
3 Ways to Terminate
- Terminating early;
- Rejecting an option to renew; and
- Giving notice for a lease violation.
