- Delivery: Notice may be served on the tenant. If no tenant is present, notice may be served on a person residing at the premises provided that the contents of the notice is explained to that person. If no person is present, the notice may be served by posting it in a conspicuous part of the premises.[1]
- Notice Period: One month’s notice.[2]
- Penalty for Holdover: Indiana law does not explicitly define a penalty applicable to tenant holdover. However, courts may award damages and attorney’s fees if the landlord prevails in a legal proceeding.
