A New Hampshire rental application is used by landlords to find ideal tenants to rent housing. The landlord may also request other documents such as past tax filings and pay stubs to help confirm the applicant’s income. If the tenant is approved, a finalized lease should be provided to the tenant.

- Security Deposit – The maximum that a landlord can demand a deposit is one (1) month’s rent or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater (RSA 540-A:6).
