A South Carolina last will and testament is a legal document created by a testator that provides detailed instructions on how to distribute their financial assets, real and personal property, and any other assets upon their death. The testator’s estate can be transferred upon their death to relatives, friends, or even charitable organizations.
Signing Requirements
Must be signed by the testator and two or more individual witnesses.[1]

“Will” includes codicil and any testamentary instrument that merely appoints an executor or revokes or revises another will.[2]
