A Vermont single-member LLC operating agreement is a document that would be utilized by a sole proprietor so that they may not only establish the basic policies for their company but also to implement the protections that the document shall provide. Although the state does not hold this document prerequisite to having the ability to conduct business within the state, should the owner decide against the completion and filing of the document with the state, the owner is risking the safety of their personal, financial assets should their company be presented with aggressive creditors and/or any other claim against the business. The document will also provide tax benefits.
