Landlord (Tenant) Adverse Action Notice
A landlord adverse action notice is sent to an applicant who applied for housing but was rejected. The landlord most commonly rejects applicants for bad credit or findings on a background check. Landlords must detail the reason for rejection and list the contact of the reporting agency. The applicant will have 60 days to obtain a free copy of the report.
