A Washington D.C. general bill of sale is a document used to prove the transfer of ownership of property between two (2) parties. The document, which must be notarized, contains information about the transaction, including details about the seller, buyer, property, and purchase price.
The bill of sale should be signed ONLY AFTER both the property and cash or trade has been exchanged between the parties.
