Alaska Subcontractor Agreement

Updated December 19, 2022

An Alaska subcontractor agreement outlines an arrangement between a general contractor and a subcontractor to carry out work. The subcontractor is not an employee of the general contractor and is paid solely for their ability to perform the task given to them. In most cases, a subcontractor is hired to perform a specific trade for a construction project such as plumbing, electrical work, roofing, and any other specialty work. Once the work is complete, or under any other arrangement between the parties, the subcontractor is to be paid.
