Connecticut Subcontractor Agreement

Updated April 26, 2023

A Connecticut subcontractor agreement is an arrangement made between a contractor and subcontractor laid out in a legally binding document. A contractor, having hired the subcontractor for their specific trade skills, will draft an agreement that will outline what work needs to be completed, when it needs to be completed by, and the payment amount offered for said work. It’s important that the subcontractor read over the contract carefully to ensure that they are willing to take on the amount of work described in the agreement for the price offered by the contractor. Furthermore, they should be aware of any penalties that may occur if the work is not completed to the satisfaction of the contractor.  If the subcontractor agrees to the terms, both parties will sign the agreement.
