A Hawaii subcontractor agreement is a legally binding work arrangement entered into for the purposes of establishing a business relationship. A contractor hires a subcontractor for their expertise in a specific area of trade and provides them with a subcontractor agreement which outlines the terms and conditions for the subcontractor’s portion of work on a particular project. It’s important that the subcontractor reads over the contract carefully to ensure they are getting paid fairly for their skills and that the time frame provided to complete the project is reasonable. There are other important terms to look over such as insurance, confidentiality, and indemnification. Once both parties agree to the final revision of the agreement, they will sign the document.
