An Idaho subcontractor agreement is used to help a contractor (hiring party) and subcontractor (hired party) come to an agreement with regard to their roles in completing a particular project. A subcontractor, being an individual with a specific set of skills, is hired to complete a number of tasks for a contractor on a project they are managing. The contractor wants to ensure that the subcontractor will complete the job in a given time frame and will perform the tasks to the best of their abilities. The subcontractor will only sign the agreement if they are sure they will be getting compensated fairly for their work, and that there are no provisions that would create unfair risks to their business. Once the agreement is signed, it becomes legally binding on both parties.
