A Missouri subcontractor agreement provides the legal framework needed to establish a working relationship between a contractor and subcontractor. General contractors should use the agreement to define the services demanded of the subcontractor and the amount of time permitted for completion. In most scenarios, the primary contractor will designate a date by which the work must be finished, though this date may vary depending on the nature of the project, weather conditions, and other circumstances which might delay the subcontractor’s ability to fulfill their contractual obligation.
