A solar panel subcontractor agreement is between a contractor and an individual or company that is hired to install solar panels, the ‘subcontractor’, to a residential or commercial structure. In most cases, the solar panel subcontractor will be hired by a roofing or construction contractor as part of a larger project. The solar panel subcontractor will likely be assigned to place the panels on the roof although may be anywhere as requested by the contractor.
