A notice can be delivered in one of the following ways:

  • Personally to the tenant; or
  • Posted in an obvious place on the premises and sent via overnight mail.[4]

Waiver of Landlord’s Right to Terminate

While Nevada law does not address the matter of whether accepting partial rent voids an eviction proceeding, it’s generally a good idea for landlords who are pursuing eviction to not accept less than what’s owing.
