Connecticut Buyer Agency Agreement

Updated December 27, 2022

A Connecticut buyer agency agreement grants a real estate agent the exclusive right to work with a client for a predetermined amount of time. While under contract, the agent will look into purchase opportunities and present them to the client for review. Should a suitable property be found, the agent will communicate with the seller, or their listing agent, to make an offer according to the client’s conditions. Payment is typically provided to the agent in the form of a commission received following the completion of the transaction.
