A Kentucky single-member LLC operating agreement is a document that would be used by an individual who is the sole proprietor of a company. The document will allow the owner of the business to outline the policies, procedures, and daily activities of their business. Since the state does not require the company keep the document in place in order to do business, it’s strongly advised that the document is implemented for the protection of the owner’s personal and financial assets. If the owner should ever face any level of litigation, without the document, they may be held personally liable for the responsibility for the debts of the business.
