A Kansas real estate power of attorney is a legal document that can be used by a principal to authorize an agent to buy, sell, or transfer real estate on their behalf, if certain conditions are met.[1] The document must be signed before a notary public in order to be validly executed.
Must be signed in the presence of a notary public.[2][3]
Recording
Although not required under state law, it is generally recommended that a real estate power of attorney be recorded with the local Register of Deeds to provide added security and legitimacy to the document.[4]
