Signing Requirements

Must be signed in the presence of either a notary public or two witnesses.[2]

Recording

Although not strictly required in all instances by Michigan law, it is recommended that a real estate power of attorney authorizing the buying or selling of property be recorded in the registry of deeds in the county where the property is located.[3]
