A Maine property management agreement is a document used to outline the business arrangement between an owner of commercial or residential property and the property manager or management company that they hire to oversee their real estate. Duties of the manager include renting out the property, dealing with tenants, handling repairs and maintenance, and marketing and advertising if necessary. The property management agreement can contain as many or as few provisions as is needed for the type of property and the responsibilities that the owner wishes to bestow upon the property manager.
