A South Carolina property management agreement is a document that establishes a professional relationship between a property owner and a licensed property manager. It relays the responsibilities of the manager and their compensation among other important information which will dictate the nature of the position. In South Carolina, a property manager need not be a licensed real estate broker as there is a separate qualification process that enables an individual to oversee the management of property. However, a real estate broker may handle management duties.
