Maine Rent Increase Notice

A Maine rent increase notice is a form used by a landlord to notify a tenant of an increase in their monthly rent. This notice must be given either 45 or 75 days in advance of the effective date, depending on the extent of the rent increase. In Portland, landlords are prohibited from increasing rent by more than 10%.
