- Notice Period: Required for rent increases of 5% or more.[1]
- Month-to-month tenancy: 30 days
- Tenancy between 1 and 2 years: 60 days
- Tenancy longer than two years: 90 days
- Rent Control: Administered at the local level, and governed at the state level by the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 and the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act of 2019.[2]
