A Michigan Association of Realtors lease agreement is a document that can be used by a licensed Realtor to handle a rental arrangement between a landlord and tenant. In most cases, the Realtor will represent the landlord through a listing agreement and show the property to prospective tenants on the landlord’s behalf. If a prospective tenant has an interest, the Realtor will accept their information through a rental application to see if they qualify for the property. If approved, the Realtor will write the lease and motivate both the landlord and tenant to sign.
