A Mississippi Association of Realtors residential lease agreement is a form completed on behalf of a licensed Realtor to establish the terms of a rental contract between a landlord and tenant. The Realtor will usually handle all facets of the transaction including showing the property to the prospective tenant, verifying their details with a rental application, and handling the back and forth between the landlord and tenant. Once a verbal agreement has been made the parties will sign the lease and the Realtor will be owed a commission.
