- Application Fee – There is no limit for application fees. They can also be non-refundable (no statute).
- Security Deposit – Landlords are legally permitted to demand up to one month’s rent as a security deposit. If the applicant has pets, the landlord can charge up to two months’ rent or $2,500, whichever is less.[1]
