A New Mexico lease termination letter, or Form 4-903, can be used by a landlord or tenant seeking to terminate a month-to-month lease. The notice must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the next rent payment for it to become in effect. It’s recommended the letter is sent by certified mail (with return receipt) with separate communication made to make sure they understand the termination conditions.
