An Alabama landlord’s notice to enter informs a tenant that the property will be accessed by the landlord within two (2) days. If a tenant makes a request for repair or other services, consent is already granted and the 2-day period is not required.
Laws – § 35-9A-303
Notice can be used for
- Repairs;
- Maintenance;
- Pest control; and
- Health or safety reasons.
Other Landlord Access
Emergency – Landlord may access the premises immediately.[1]
Property Showings – If the property is to be shown to a prospective tenant, reasonable notice must be given to the tenant.[2]
