An Ohio notice to enter is used to inform a tenant why and when their landlord needs to enter their rental unit. Landlords are required to give at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to enter in any instance other than an emergency.

Notice can be used for
- Agreed, necessary, or ordinary alterations, decorations, improvements, or repairs;
- Agreed or necessary services;
- Delivery of parcels too large for mail facilities;
- Inspection; and
- Showing the unit to actual or potential buyers, contractors, mortgagees, tenants, or workmen.
