- Delivery: Delivery must be made personally. If deliver cannot be made to the tenant personally, notice may be left with a family member over the age of 12 residing with the tenant. If not such family member is present, notice may be posted at the dwelling but must also be mailed by certified mail or mailed through the Firm Mailing Book for Accountable Mail as provided by the United States Post Office.[1]
- Notice Period: 30 days.[2]
- Penalty for Holdover: The landlord may immediately bring action for possession and damages. Additionally, the landlord may recover an amount not to exceed twice the average rent.[3]
