An Oklahoma Lease Termination Letter (30-Day Notice) is a legally required document that will allow a landlord or a tenant to provide notice that they intend to vacate the premises (or have the premises vacated) and terminate the lease agreement. This document must provide at least 30 days notice. It will also provide an address for which, the landlord may return the security deposit or an explanation for partial return or no return.

How To Write
Step 1 – Date the document –
- Enter the date in dd/mm/yyyy format
Step 2 – Notice Information – Enter:
- The name of the person to whom you intend to receive the notice
- Their Address
- City, State, Zip Code
- Enter the name of the person providing notice to vacate
- Physical Address
- City, State, Zip Code
Step 3 – Sender must read and understand statement –
- Enter the address of the rental property for which you are serving notice to vacate
- Enter the effective date (with at least 30 days notice to vacate)
Step 4 – Signatures –
- Make arrangements for a walk through and final inspection of the premises
- Enter signatures
