A South Dakota roommate agreement is a written contract between or among the occupants of a shared residential rental property. The tenants must understand that they will be entering into an agreement that is legally binding and enforceable by law. Each tenant will be responsible to abide by the laws, house rules, and regulations of the agreement with all of the other roommates.
