A Vermont rental application is a form used to gather information about a person applying for housing. The landlord will process the details provided and run a credit report and verify employment.   • Application Fee – Application fees are not permitted for residential tenancy applications; this law does not apply to commercial and nonresidential application fees (§ 4456a).
