Connecticut Voter Registration Form – Register to Vote in CT

A Connecticut voter registration form is to be completed by all residents of Connecticut who wish to vote in any upcoming elections. In order to register in the State of Connecticut, citizens must be seventeen (17) years of age or older (must turn 18 before election day) and be a U.S. citizen residing in Connecticut.

All registration forms should be sent to the Town Clerk of the town in which the individual resides. Registrants also have the option of completing the registration process online. All registration forms must be submitted seven (7) days before the election day.

Where to Send Voter Registration Form – Forms can be mailed or delivered in person to the voter’s Town Clerk.

Voter ID (§ 9-261)- First-time voters must present either one piece of photo identification or a copy of a bill, bank statement, or government document with name and address displayed. All other voters can present any form of identification with name/address, name/signature, or name/photograph, or sign an affidavit.
