Mississippi Voter Registration Form – Register to Vote in MS

A Mississippi voter registration form is used by Mississippi residents in order to register to vote in federal, municipal, and state elections. The requirements for voter registration are as follows: the applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years old, a U.S. citizen, and be a resident of Mississippi for a minimum of thirty (30) days. Furthermore, residents cannot vote if they are deemed mentally incompetent by the court or if they have been convicted of a felony. The registration form, once completed, must be submitted by hand or mail to the county circuit clerk.

Where to Send Voter Registration Form – Send it to your local county circuit clerk.

Voter ID (§23-15-563) – Mississippi residents are required to present a valid photo ID at their polling station in order to vote. Accepted form of photo ID are as follows:

  • Mississippi driver’s license number
  • Other Mississippi State-issued photo ID
  • U.S. passport
  • Government employee ID
  • Firearms license
  • Mississippi student photo ID
  • U.S. military ID
  • Tribal photo ID
  • Mississippi Voter Identification Card

If you are unable to present photo ID on election day, one can cast an affidavit vote and return with their ID in order to validate their vote.
