A Rhode Island voter registration form can be completed and submitted to a local DMV office or to the Board of Canvassers to vote in any upcoming election. In addition to providing you with the opportunity to register, the form can be used to update any previous voter information or to change your political party affiliation. The form must be sent at least thirty (30) days before the election day in order to properly register. You must also be a US citizen residing in Rhode Island and be at least sixteen (16) years old to register. Note that you must be eighteen (18) years old at the time of election.
