A Vermont voter registration form can be used to register for upcoming federal, state, and municipal elections. The form can be completed in its entirety using the Secretary of State Online Voter Registration System. Otherwise, you may submit the paper application by mail or in person to a local town or city clerk. Alternatively, you can register to vote at a local DMV when filing the Vermont Application for License or Permit. First-time applicants who have elected to register by mail will be required to include a photocopy of one (1) of the state-approved IDs (more information below).
