A Virginia voter registration form can be completed and submitted to a local voter registration office enabling a resident to participate in an upcoming election. The Virginia Department of Elections also permits applicants to submit their voting information Online or at a DMV when applying for a Driver’s License and Identification Card Application. Registration is only available to US citizens who are, or will be, eighteen (18) years of age on election day. Additionally, a social security number and valid mailing address are required (if a qualified protected voter, a Virginia post office box may be used in place of a mailing address).
