The Arkansas General Bill of Sale is a document that is used to provide proof that a sales transaction has taken place between two individuals, seller, and buyer. This document may include the sale of any type of personal property ie: vintage vehicles, livestock, furniture or any other type of personal property.
How To Write
Step 1 – The Buyer and Seller – Both parties must provide the following information:
- The Seller –
- Name
- Driver’s License Number
- Physical Address
- City
- State
- The Buyer –
- Name
- Driver’s License Number
- Physical Address
- City
- State
Step 2 – Property Details – In the lines provided on the form, provide the following information:
- Description of the property being sold and purchased
- Serial Number (SN)
Step 3 – Trade or Purchase Price – Provide details regarding the sale or trade as follows:
- In the first line, enter the amount of the sale in words
- Enter the dollar amount in numbers
- Enter the date the sale will be known as in mm/dd/yyyy format
- If payment will be made at a later date, enter the final date payment will be allowed
- Other – If there are other arrangements, state them on the line provided
- If the buyer is receiving the item(s) as a gift, indicate
- Seller accepts trade – Describe the negotiations
Once the document is complete, make copies for record keeping and give the original copy to the buyer
