The Nebraska security deposit demand letter can be sent to a landlord after they neglect or refuse to refund a security deposit that was paid at the start of a tenancy. In Nebraska, landlords must provide tenants with the security deposit and an itemized list of damages subtracting from the balance (if applicable) within fourteen (14) days after the tenancy expires.
