A North Dakota independent contractor agreement is a document that a contractor and their client will use to establish terms of business regarding the completion of a specific project or the performance of a particular service. The contract must describe the type of work that the contractor is expected to perform and the compensation that they will receive. If the client is prepared to pay for certain expenses, these should be written into the agreement. Having a written agreement provides assurance that both parties will fulfill their obligations on time and in a legal manner.
