Oklahoma Independent Contractor Agreement

Updated February 21, 2022

An Oklahoma independent contractor agreement is a contract that specifies the terms by which a contractor must operate in order to receive payment for the service provided by the contractor. In addition to describing the work that must be completed and the amount of compensation being offered, the document should include the project due date and the date that the contract will expire. In addition to holding the other party accountable, a contract of this nature also provides protection against future litigation should it become necessary. Both the client and the contractor must sign the agreement in order for it to be considered valid.
